［嵐ファン］Which ARASHI song do you think would be popular in Australia?
嵐の歌のなかで、オーストラリアで受け入れられると思う歌はどれですか？
［DJ IJ Wilson］I think Australian listeners would like Negai, because it has an international feel about it that they would recognise, and a strong melody. And even if they couldn't understand the lyrics, a lot of emotion comes through in the music, and that's what people would respond to I think.
オーストラリアのリスナーは、『negai』を気に入ると思います。国際的な雰囲気がする歌なので、なじみやすいと思います。メロディーがしっかりしていますし。たとえ歌詞を理解できなくても、いろいろな感情が伝わってくるので、そこにリスナーは反応すると思います。

［嵐ファン］ARASHI has released the reproduction of its past hit songs as “Reborn series.” Which “Reborn” is your favorite? Which one do you prefer the original version over reproduction?
嵐は、過去のヒット曲のいくつかを:Rebornシリーズとしてリメイクしていますが、原曲と聴き比べた印象を聞かせて下さい。どの:Rebornが好きですか？また、原曲の方が好きなのはどれですか？
［DJ IJ Wilson］I initially liked the reproduction, which I heard first -- but when I heard the original, I think that I enjoyed it more, as the pace was slightly slower, but the bass feels more filled out, and I think if you heard it in a nightclub, it would sound amazing.
まず『Face Down: Reborn』が気に入りました。Rebornのほうを最初に聞いたんです。でも、原曲を聞いたらもっと気に入りました。原曲のほうがテンポが少しゆっくりですよね。でも、低音がより効いていて、ナイトクラブで聞いたらすごくガツンと来ると思います。

［嵐ファン］When you listen to ARASHI’s music, have you ever be reminded of the other artists? For example, listening to ARASHI's ""(song title)"" makes you think of “(artist name)"" etc.
嵐の曲を聴いて、他のアーティストを思い浮かべる事はありますか？ 例えば、嵐の『(曲名)』を聴いて海外アーティストの『(アーティスト名)』っぽさがある等です。
［DJ IJ Wilson］This is not specific, but I often hear musical genres that I like, being used in ARASHI's music. For example, I like a lot of electronic music and dance music, and when I hear the opening chords of Stay Gold it reminds me of classic club music from around 1994 that I used to hear when I worked in a bar. Other songs make me think of Chicago House, and when I hear Bazuri Night and Whenever You Call, there are elements of 'synthwave' music, a genre that sprung up about ten years ago that uses synthesizer elements from 80s movie sountracks and computer games.
これといって特にはありませんが、私が好きでよく聞く音楽のジャンルが、嵐の楽曲で使われています。例えば、私は電子音楽やダンスミュージックが好きなのですが、『STAY GOLD』のイントロのコードを聞いたとき、かつてバーで働いていたときによく耳にしていた1994年ごろのクラブミュージックを思いだしましたね。「シカゴ・ハウス」（訳注：ハウス音楽の初期のスタイル。米国シカゴが発祥）を彷彿させる曲もあります。『バズりNIGHT』と『Whenever You Call』を聞いたとき、シンセウェイブ・ミュージック、これは1980年代の映画音楽やコンピューターゲームの影響を受けた電子音楽のジャンルで、10年くらい前に出てきたものなのですが、その要素があるなと思いました。

［嵐ファン］What did you think of ARASHI's live performance video ""untitled"" on YouTube?
YouTubeで嵐のLIVE""untitled""を見た感想を教えてください。
［DJ IJ Wilson］When I was young, I didn't listen to any bands like ARASHI, where everyone sings - what I listened to mainly was Heavy Metal first, and then alternative music as a teenager, which included punk bands; and then techno! So in a way, watching a concert like this was a first for me, a new experience, probably at a time in my life, when I am happy for new experiences. I thought that the choreography was great, and probably my favourite was Bazuri Night and Song for You; there was a cool jazz part that made me think of West Side Story with the dancing between opposing sides. I could see that a big part of the appeal of ARASHI for their fans are their live concerts.
私は若いころ、嵐のようなグループ、つまり、メンバー全員が歌うグループの歌は聞いていませんでした。私がもっぱら聞いていたのはまずヘビメタで、ティーンエイジャーのころはパンクバンドとかテクノミュージックといった「オルタナティブ音楽（訳注：今までの主流から外れた独創的な新しい音楽）」を聞いていました。だから、「untitled」のようなコンサートを見るのはわたしにとって初めての経験で、人生において新しい経験にわくわくしました。振付がすばらしかったです。気に入ったのは『バズりNIGHT』と『Song for you』です。『Song for you』のクールなジャズの部分は、二手にわかれてダンスをする『ウエストサイドストーリー』を思い出させてくれました。嵐ファンにとって、ライブは大きな魅力だろうなと思いました。
